Q:Tom, I get the Iron Man/Dr Strange high-five page. It just really doesn't work in comics. especially when its an entire page. 1 page out of 20, that I paid $5 for. It really makes one rethink wasting money on stuff like this.

Sorry you feel that way, but it’s all a part of the reading experience, all a part of the story. If I thought the joke was worthwhile, I wouldn’t hesitate a minute to extend that sequence to five pages.

For what it’s worth, I thought that page was hilarious and would not have changed it. Some people are way too concerned about how much stuff happens in a book  or on a page rather than how it’s told. It sometimes seems like some fans would be content with a bullet point list of the major plot points because that’s the most space efficient way of getting everything across.
